Internet Hiatus

Ok ok, I've been slacking.  So instead of making a ginormous post about everything that happened.   I'll recap for you everything that happened (that I can remember) between my last post and this one.

*Spur of the moment flight to Pensacola and the Florida panhandle coast.
*Driving 8 hours home from said trip due to plane malfunction.
*Charlie peeing, pooping, throwing up, then pooping again!  All in the first 30 miles of a 300 mile trip.
*FINALLY getting to stay in Mom & Dad's finished castle on their mountain.
*Sitting on lawn chairs & sleeping on blow-up mattresses because there is no furniture in said house
*Not getting around to decorating the Christmas tree until Christmas Eve.
*Christmas Eve service at our old church singing Christmas carols.
*Not opening presents until 1 pm Christmas day.
*My brother & I trying to blow up Austin's deer.
*Cleaning my parents house up to military standards (all in 3 hours)
*Mansion searching in Little Rock
*Informing my parents that I'll be going back to school next fall at Arkansas to finish.  (and informing my sister that i'll be living with her)
*Grandma stealing ALL my mom's cookware.
*Kids running around screaming, playing games, pretending to be cats, constantly being hungry, wanting to sit on top of you all the time, running up and down the stairs, leaving all the lights on.
*Being far enough in the country to actually be able to shoot of fireworks on New Year's Eve.
*Falling asleep before New Year's.
*Lots and lots and lots of wood chopping.
*Learning how to stoke the fire.
*Shopping at the Big Star.
*Go on a flight with mom and take around 100 pictures of Little Rock & the new house
*The most epic Pictionary win by Claire and I.  (We won via ONLY all plays.)
*Watch dad sit in his brand new recliner while the rest of us continue to sit in lawn chairs or on the floor.
*Gaining at least 10 lbs of Holiday weight
*Heading back to Columbus after 10 glorious days of vacation at home.
*Charlie actually sleeping the ENTIRE way home.
*Getting diverted off the highway for a wreck, immediately getting back on the freeway only to see a tanker truck turned over on the opposite site of the highway.
*Get lost in parts of Memphis that we've been through at least 1,000 times before.
*FINALLY making it back home and collapsing on the couch as soon as we arrive.
*Getting up Monday morning and deciding to start dieting and exercising (thanks to Kelsey!)
*Actually making all week on a strict diet and exercise.
*Splurging for Saturday's game night with the Proti and Coopers. 
*Killing everyone off in Clue AND winning the game
*Successfully being the only person to get the wacky law in Arkansas right.  (Represent!!!!  :))
*After splurging on said game night...stepping on the scale and discovering that I've lost 2 lbs this week!!!!!
*And that brings us to today.......SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (There will be a post on this later)

So that in a nutshell is what has been going on over the past month.  I've missed tons of other things that happened.  If I think they are blog worthy I'll come back and write on them.  Hope my faithful followers will remember to check back with me after my long hiatus.  As for now, I'm going to continue to enjoy looking at the snow falling on my back porch and dream that I'm actually on Hamilton Ave and not all the way in town.  I'll leave you with the little bit of snow fun that Chase & I had tonight.
