This is what Chase would say if he was here when I got home. Well, since he's not here, you get to hear about it. Not only does the heat make your employees tired and sluggish, but apparently it's starts to get to a point where it affects business sometimes. To say that today was slow is a gross understatement. We finished setting everything up 30 minutes early, sat around for another 30 minutes until time to open, and literally around 2 customers walked in the door in the first hour. During these morning preps, we pump out the caramel, chocolate and peanut butter to get all the air out of the pump. Well, the peanut butter decided it was going to be mad at me today and spit all over me.

Yea, those little splotches everywhere...peanut butter |

So this of course
forced finally gave me an excuse to buy another shirt.

Yes, it was necessary |
I think I have 8 total....5 of which I actually wear. Then I spent 20 minutes at Subway getting some lunch, came back...still slow. I grabbed a paper and throughout the course of the day did the crossword, word jumble and cryptoquip. I drew the line at Sodoku...that's just out of my league. Everything was trying so hard to find busy work. Then, after I had cut my hands about 10 different times (on the same thing) and (almost) broke another shelf, I figured it was my time to bow out for the day.
Now I'm sitting here with Charlie trying to figure out what to do for the night. He keeps meowing at me. Some say it might be because he missed me this past week, I often think it's because he misses his daddy. Let's be real though....this is all he really needs us for.
