I honestly can't even remember a lot of what has happened these past few months. I have never had time fly by so fast before. It's exciting/dreadful/scary/but mostly exciting to be moving so soon. I know most of you already know, but we're moving to Wichita, KS (McConnell AFB). He'll be flying the KC-135. They tell us that McConnell is one of the busiest 135 bases, so he's glad that he won't be sitting around a lot. They are also the only 135 base that can give out gas and take on gas which was important to him. Now he can contribute to helping many more aircraft. As I learn more, I'll be passing it along. We should be there sometime next year, still not sure of exact dates, but with winter ahead....who knows what could change. Chase and I are familiar with this area as we have lots of family around. He'll get to see cousins he hasn't been able to spend much time with and the grandparents are a short drive away. That's my favorite part. Here's Chase and I when we were visiting in 2007.
The most important thing that has happened since my last update is that.....CHASE BRADLEY IS A USAF PILOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was such a wonderful weekend with our family in town. It was extremely busy and VERY hot, but very enjoyable. Here's a few pictures from the weekend.
He's off a SERE now. So far he's been having fun. The days have been tiring but nothing too grueling. He leaves for the field this Saturday though and that's where the fun begins. He's already been learning things he can't tell me about. As much I am dying to know what these things are, I'll have to use great restraint not to nag him to death about telling me.
As for me, I'm still working at Smackers, everything is going well. I don't have too much longer there, July 29th is my last day. I will definitely miss that place though. The employees there have made my time here so much fun. I only wish they had opened back in early 2010 so we would've gotten to work together longer. Thanks to facebook though, we'll definitely keep in touch. Not much else to tell. I'm heading down to Tampa again to celebrate Jaylynn's 1st b-day! I can't believe she is already a year old! Like I said....time has been flying by.
Congrats to you if you're still reading! My new goal is to kinda steal Kelsey's idea. Since I'm so bad at actually keeping up with my blog I'm setting small goals for myself. My goal is to, at the very minimum, upload a picture per day. Something of importance to my day. So everyone hold me to it, don't let me falter on that at least. Now I'm off to

I LOVE your new layout!
and can I just say that your hair is so stinking cute. You make me want to cut mine! (trying to show restraint since mine doesn't grow super fast like yours ;)
