Extra Crispy or Original Recipe?

Here's my food blog guest appearance!  Go on over to Kelsey Cooker to check out my "Dad Approved Shepherd's Pie"

What?  You don't have these in your town?
This is the Golden Moon Casino (that moon doesn't look very gold to me).  It's you landmark showing us that we were close to our destination.

Today I ventured out with Sara and Vince (thanks for letting me be the 3rd wheel today) to Geyser Falls.  It was a pretty decent water park.  Not too crowded since it was a week-day.  Thank goodness!  We spent most of the day just completely relaxing between the wave pool, the sandy beach area and the lazy river. Let me just state that you should not be allowed in the lazy river unless you have an inter tube.  It was very enjoyable, but there were tons of kids swimming/walking/splashing through it.  We paid $17 to get in (thank you military discount) and we probably did 17 laps around the lazy river.  Day well spent if you ask me.  :)  We did venture down one of the rides though.  You remember those fair slides that you took the mat up on and slid down?  No?  Ok, well this was the same, just with water running down it.  We went down this thing quite fast, a lot faster than I thought we would, with only minimal splashes to the face.
For those who just have no idea what I'm talking about:
This...just with water running down.  (Source)
We stayed about 4ish hours and once we got out of the sun and cooled off...we started to notice all the sunburns.  I will say, that I'm no where near as burnt as I thought I would be.  Compared to how I originally was though....some might say I've reached slight "extra crispy" status.  It was a great day though.  It is making me miss Chase more and more though.  I want to have all this fun with him too!  These past few days the weather in Washington has said rain....and that just makes me feel so bad for him.  He'll be back "momentarily" tomorrow night though and I'll be oh so glad to finally talk to him!  Then just a week later and it'll all be over!  Can't wait to have him back home.....Charlie and I just don't function the same without him.
